Indications

Unclean, colonised or infected wounds regardless of aetiology, e.g. chronic wounds (diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers, pressure sores), post-operative dehisced wounds, traumatic wounds, or wounds after excision of fistulae or abscesses. Cutimed Sorbact is also effective in dermal fungal infections. In dry or low exuding wounds, Cutimed Sorbact gel is recommended to provide the necessary moisture needed for the bacteria binding effect and to avoid any potential of sticking to the wound.
